Gaius is 1 year 8 month old male Havapoo. He is healthy, neutered, fully house broken, microchipped, vaccinated and weights 24lb. All his legal papers are present. This handsome puppy is super sweet and very cuddly. He knows basic obedience commands: "sit", "down", "come", "drop it", "no", "leave it", "wait", "fetch" and "paw". He is crate and leash trained. He is very well socialized with people, dogs and cats. He attends a doggy day care.
His light chocolate hair is soft, HYPOALLERGENIC and never sheds or smells. Gaius is perfect at the groomers. This mini-Poodle/Havanese hybrid requires periodic professional haircuts because his hair does not shed. Consider around $70 groomer's fee every 2-3 months.
Gaius is great at walks: no leash pulling, no barking at other dogs, no chasing birds or squirrels. Gaius is a pro at car rides. This well-mannered Havapoo is highly intelligent and he will demand your attention. He is NOT hyperactive like most Golden Doodles are; neither is he obnoxious or nagging. He is not obsessed with food, although he is not a picky eater either. He will love you unconditionally. Unlike other dogs, this one does not crave for canine companionship; he just wants to be with you. Gaius is a loving "Velcro" dog. Gaius will bark for your attention if ignored or left alone for a prolonged period.
Light, but daily physical activity like a walk around your neighborhood is a must. Gaius is never aggressive with anyone but is very valuable as a watch dog that will alert you when someone is approaching your front door. This is an amazing young dog that was hand raised with love and attention by me since he was 12 wks old.
To select homes where humans are present most of the day; preferably as a single dog, since he will be competing for your attention. Cats are OK.
